We’re so excited to let you know that we’re going to be at NZ’s largest build and construction expo: BuildNZ DesignEX Canterbury.
There’s been a lot of noise in our factory after the arrival of our new Turret press – literally!
Our team at Escea has carefully selected a new fuel bed to complement any rustic, minimalist or modern interior design. Our Woodland Selection captures the pure essence of nature. Composed of branches, pine cones and shale, this selection offers an authentic native presence alongside the understated beauty of the DX Series.
Sold across the world in the U.K, Australia, North America, and now in Europe; Escea’s DX Series fireplaces are only just warming up.
The Escea ST900 fireplace is Escea’s smaller, easy-to-install fireplace with our most natural-looking flame display, perfect for rooms in which ambience is the focus, rather than heat. The ST900 has been a huge success in New Zealand and the USA since its original launch in 2009, and Escea is excited to announce its official launch in the Australian market this December.
It’s time to say goodbye to the fireplace that started it all. The IB Series was first released in 2005, and quickly became homeowners’, architects’ and dealers’ first choice of gas fireplace for its market-leading efficiency, sleek appearance, and high heat output.
Escea will launch its range of efficient, sleek gas fireplaces in Oslo on 2-3 December 2013, shaking up the Norwegian fireplace market with a healthy dose of Antipodean innovation.
In July, Escea’s CEO Nigel Bamford and Marketing Manager Mark Cowden participated in the 2013 Better By Design US Study Tour. Along with other innovators in the New Zealand business world, Mark and Nigel visited world-leading, innovative US-based businesses, from internet giant Google to robotic surgery pioneer Intuitive Surgical. Some of the businesses the Escea team found most inspiring were:
There’s lots of Escea news this week! Along with the new Quadrato Lite fascia, we’re excited to announce the release of new Escea fascia colours, Titanium Silver and Volcanic Black, which will gradually replace the current Metallic Silver and Satin Black on all other indoor fireplace fascias. The new colours are warmer and slightly textured, making them more durable, easier to clean, and more resistant to marks and fingerprints. Or, in short, they’re really quite stunning.
The new colours will be in production from 1 November. Also from 1 November, the Escea logo will be printed on the bottom right corner of the glass (it’s currently set in relief on the inner fascia frame or printed on the bottom right corner of the fascia).
Titanium Silver was inspired by the lustrous, lightweight strength of titanium. Just as Titanium is strong yet light – it has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal – Escea fireplaces are incredibly high-performing, yet exceptionally sleek and beautiful.
Escea is pleased to announce the release of our new DL Series fascia, Quadrato Lite, created in response to greater demand for frameless-style fascias. Quadrato Lite has a narrower outer fascia frame than the regular Quadrato (Squared) fascia, making it sleeker with a minimal profile. Check out the range here, or click through for more images:
