You may recall in July we announced our entry into the World Architectural News (WAN) Awards, an emerging international design competition. WAN has a huge global audience and the Awards are the world’s largest architectural awards – this year 846 entries from 51 countries competed and were judged by 118 international judges. The Awards celebrate and promote the best in architectural details, materials and products and we were delighted to be shortlisted in the 2012 WAN Product of the Year category.

Escea is pleased to announce the arrival of the DX1000 fireplace to join the DX Series. DX fireplaces offer a see-through double sided option, heat ducting that allows the fireplace to be used in a central heating capacity and even allow control via an iPhone or Android app.

This looks set to continue with us having been recently invited to submit an entry to a high profile architectural industry competition seeking well designed product having new features available for architects. The “World Architecture News Awards” are emerging international competitions with various categories focused on architects and designers.
