A combination of fire, water, metal and stone inspired a truly original design for this Melbourne, Australia holiday home. The sunny glass house channels the tranquil energy emitted by the natural materials within. At the heart of the home, this master builder from Platform created a floating concrete centrepiece with a frameless gas log fire with a heat ducting system to heat the 30m long, open plan rooms with 4m high ceilings.
We’ll be at the Auckland Home Show this week with four of our stunning fireplaces; our double sided DX1500, DL1100, ST900 and our outdoor fireplace, the EF5000. We’ll be hanging out at Stand 3 in Hall 8.
The show starts this Wednesday, the 10th of September and runs until the 14th of September at the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane. You can head on in from 10am until 9pm Wednesday-Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sunday.
Our team at Escea would love to see you, so pop on in and say hello.
DX1500: Escea’s Enchantress
ACCENTUATE THE ALLURE
Boasting an impressively wide flame display, clean framing lines, reflective side panels and an artistic stature; the DX Series is the Majesty of Flame.
So why wouldn’t you want to double the drama?
The reflective side panels paired with the see-through feature elongates the flame and extends it into two areas. In addition, the infinite flame effect offers a stronger, more powerful spectacle in your home, which you can simply frame with an Escea Velo Lite fascia or leave to its natural beauty.
The double sided, see-through option also adds to the charm of the DX Series fireplaces as it emphasises the striking focus it can bring to your living space.
The Escea DX Series fireplaces are not only popular with architects and clients but also have caught the eye of the best designers and stylists – both in New Zealand and also globally.
Escea is pleased to announce the arrival of the DX1000 fireplace to join the DX Series. DX fireplaces offer a see-through double sided option, heat ducting that allows the fireplace to be used in a central heating capacity and even allow control via an iPhone or Android app.
The quintessential Christchurch dining place Saggio di Vino is again open in the New Zealand garden city, after experiencing devastating earthquakes in September 2010 and February 2011. This is clearly an exciting piece of news for wine and fine dining enthusiasts. The food is great, the wine list is exceptional and the owners Lisa & Yommi are just as hospitable as ever.
