Spanish architecture firm A-Cero Architecture has come up with idea of using stone for nearly all interior and exterior elements of a gorgeous house near Madrid. The company used cream travertine slabs to clad outside walls, surround of a swimming pool and floors on two levels of this stunning residential property.
The interior décor of the house is very minimalistic and with a very strict colour scheme. The architects seem to only choose from white and black finishes which works very well with a natural stone floor.
The cream travertine is definitely a feature of the monumental two storey living room and is nicely highlighted by natural light coming into the house in various rooms and on corridors. The architects have even used additional lighting in the chic dressing room which makes wardrobes appear to float over the stone floor.
The only boost of bright colours in the whole house can be found in the daughter’s room upstairs. We might speculate that the architect’s brief was strongly influenced by the client’s daughter who obviously loves bright pinks and purples.
We think this stunning house is only missing an Escea Cream Travertine Molaris front which is available for the ST900 gas fireplace. The architects could also consider using Verta fronts with creamy or black stone inserts. This finish works well on both indoor and outdoor fireplaces to create a nice design flow within this style of spectacular building.
The ST900 fireplace with Cream Travertine Molaris fascia is only available in New Zealand, the USA and Canada.
