The DF Series features Escea’s new Bead Burner technology and the latest Splitwood fuelbed. Be captivated by softer, richer flames with lifelike embers and large logs that mimic the nature of a real fireplace burning.

Designed with renovators in mind, the DF Series’ smaller dimensions and flexible installation make it ideal for retrofitting into existing cavities, or as a classic addition to a modern home.

Direct Vent Power Flues and Zero Clearance innovations give you greater design freedom, delivering a complete symphony of fire.

Suitable for Retrofit

These fireplaces have been designed for those who want to replace a traditional open-fronted fireplace with a modern and highly efficient fireplace. The DF Series gas fires can be installed in a timber-framed cavity, or in a brick chimney using flexi-flue extensions.

Campfire Flames.

Escea’s innovative Bead Burner technology brings mesmerising campfire flames to your living room – with softer, wider flames that are richer in colour, the DF Series mimics the nature of a real fireplace burning. *(excludes the DF990).

Lifelike Logs & Embers.

The new Splitwood fuelbed emulates a freshly lit fire that instantly sets the scene for complete relaxation and connection. Smouldering embers glow underneath a fuller, layered display of larger lifelike logs, bringing the depth and realism of a real fireplace*(excludes the DF990).

Room Sealed Design.

Escea indoor fireplaces are all glass-fronted with power flueing, so the room air and the firebox air do not mix. This not only helps with heat efficiency, it also makes them airtight and safe from fumes. Giving you a dry and healthy home, with complete peace of mind.

Design Freedom.

Escea’s Powered Direct Vent Flue uses efficient fan technology to heat the room but not the flue. The system also allows the flue to run up, down, and even horizontally - giving you the design flexibility to put your fireplace anywhere.

Walk into Warmth.

Escea SmartHeat connects your fire to your home network and gives you control of your fireplace from your smartphone. Whether you’re driving home from work on a cold winter’s night, or just relaxing on the couch…the perfect temperature is only a swipe away.

DF Surround Choice.

This fireplace has a Zero Clearance rating which means the interior wall stays cool enough to handle most materials. There’s no need for expensive fire-rated wall constructions and when it comes to the fireplace surround, you have a wider range of choices *(excludes the DF990).

Mantel Surround.

Transform your living room with the old-world charm of a traditional fireplace surround. Available in two sizes, purchase a mantel with the DF700, DF960 and DF990. Pre-cut infill panels are also included.

TV right above.

TVs and fireplaces just go together. And this fireplace has a reduced TV clearance minimum of 200mm above the top of the firebox, for your screen viewing pleasure.
