Escea Fireplaces on The Block Australia

If you’ve been keeping up with The Block Australia like us, you may have spied a few Escea fireplaces during living room week.

The teams were tasked with creating a beautiful, contemporary living and dining room that would strike a chord with both the judges, and potential buyers come the all-important auction day. And so, they set out to find the perfect fireplaces that would bring warmth and soul into each of their living spaces.

The contestants made their selection from the wide range of fireplaces at Stoke Fireplace Studio in Melbourne – four of which were an Escea fireplace, supplied and installed by our friends at Stoke.

Keep reading to check out which fireplaces they chose and how their final living rooms fared.

Ronnie and Georgia

Ronnie and Georgia chose the minimalist Escea DS1400 gas fireplace set into a soft and sophisticated timber surround. A floating marble hearth emphasises the clean lines in this space – a consistent theme in the structure of their room, softened by curved furniture, accent lighting and plenty of texture.

Mitch and Mark

A ‘bigger is better’ approach led to Mitch and Mark choosing the Escea DS1900 gas fireplace. At nearly 2m wide, its Escea longest fireplace and it does a great job of anchoring the space and creating a clear place to gather and gravitate with friends and family.

Tanya and Vito

Tanya and Vito used the Escea DS1650 double sided gas fireplace to create a visual connection between the dining area and the sunken living room.  The window of flame establishes a flow between the two spaces, while filling the space with glorious warmth.

Josh and Luke

Josh and Luke also went for a room-dividing fireplace, the Escea DS1400 double sided gas fireplace installed hutch-style. This installation is another example of clever and considered use of the fireplace to designate areas within an open-plan space.
