Depending on your fireplace, your serial number can be found in different locations. 

Gas Fireplaces:

• White Remote: the serial number for your fireplace can be found under the batteries of your remote control.
• Black Remote: the serial number for your fireplace is on the Remote Quick Start card that accompanies the product in the remote control’s packaging.

Electric Fireplaces: 

The serial number for your fireplace is located on both: 

• the Remote Quick Start card that accompanies the product in the remote control’s packaging.
• a sticker mounted to the underside of the chassis top. To view it, look up inside the front opening of the fireplace: the screen may need to be lowered to view it. 

Wood Fireplaces:

The serial number can be found on the rear of the fireplace by pulling the tab on the metal plate near the bottom of the appliance.

The type of remote your gas fireplace has will determine which app you need to download.
